Dawn breaks at Rainbow Beach, we made good progress last night so stopped for a few hours sleep behind Double Island Point as we needed to wait for an incoming tide and more depth on the notorious Wide Bay bar. The bar was well behaved this time.
We are now at Kingfisher Bay (see photo below) Al is cooking filet steak on the BBQ because my pizza last night was not a success.

Both photos look lovely and the weather would appear to be “calm”. Let’s hope it stays that way! Hope the fillet steak was better (how can you muck up pizza?). The QM2 is in town tonight and we went in and saw her – just gorgeous! Take care x
