Love this place, covered some miles today to get here. 4am start in Brisbane, to catch a 6.20 flight. My ears still haven’t popped from the decent but should be grateful, left ear can sort of hear, normally completely deaf on that side!l We left Mackay at 10am after refueling,  filling up watertanks and getting milk and fresh bread. Al seen below getting some beauty sleep after a rigorous morning.

We are now at Burning Point anchorage on Shaw Island,  some 45 nm North of Mackay, we were going to anchor at Thomas Island but there was a lot of swell so thought would be better to go another 5 miles and avoid a rolly anchorage.

We have Lindeman Island just North of us and like this anchorage where Baly has been twice before. Filet steak on bbq tonite.
