It rained all night and was pretty rolly at Low Isles, but when we left at 7.30am it was clear. It is quite a attractive place with a beautiful traditional lighthouse.
Some picturesque coastline, particularly around Cape Tribulation.
We arrived early at Hope Island at 1.30pm and it looked quite exposed. So to avoud another rolly night we elected to continue on another 20 nm to Cooktown, which we reached at 4.30pm. It will make tomorrows run to Lizard Island a hit shorter and easier.
Hi Guys,
It looks as though you are progressing pretty well – I’ve been meaning to ask whether you’ve seen many crocs enroute up there? How’s the schedule looking for Darwin? Go well – thinking of you Cheers Fi and TJ
