Day 30.  Norfolk and Portsmouth, VA

Gracie slumming it with Eider at the Portsmouth free dock basin outside the Renaissance Hotel. We took the ferry across to Norfolk to checkout the battleship USS Wisconsin and the Nauticus Museum.
TJ and Julie came by in the afternoon to take us for a tour in their hire car including the Naval Hospital where TJ used to work. In the evening we went to an amazingly restored Art Deco theatre restaurant, the Commodore.
We watched Batman Vs Superman on the surround screen with heavy duty Dolby acoustics.  Somewhat decadent lounging in armchairs ordering another pitcher of beer after dinner watching the latest movie featuring Ben Affleck. Sadly we farewelled TJ and Julie who have become great friends. They are leaving their boat here and going to Vegas to catch up with family.
