Day 44.  Atlantic City NJ

We had a 7am departure from Cape May in beautiful conditions, headed for Atlantic City aka AC and Sin City. We could see the skyline 20 miles away reminiscent of Australia’s Gold Coast but closer up it has its own architectural style. It might even borrow something from the canals of Venice.

Moored at the Historic Gardners Basin Marina, where we found John and Eunice on Harmony. Gracie is pictured below with Harmony and Harrah’s Casino in the background.

Across the basin from us is the house that used to be owned by Al Capone during the prohibition years. Vessels would drive right into his boat shed and unload the liquor.

Tonight’s venue for dinner as recommended by several of Steve’s mates is the Back Bay Alehouse located about 100 meters from our mooring. Good chance we should be able to find our way home!
