Day 71.  Quinte Point, Ontario

We caught the bus to the mall and bought sims for our iPads. Thank you Usber and Yousef for getting us a great deal with Fido, a subsidiary of Rogers which has one the best networks in the country. Departed Kingston at 11.30am for a track to the Bay of Quinte. The track below shows Kingston as the red dot, our anchorage position as the red triangle at Quinte Point and the start of the Trent Severn Waterway is the blue pin on the left.


Just after leaving Kingston we saw the unusual juxtaposition of the State Penitentiary right on exclusive foreshore land, immediately next to Portsmouth which was the 1976 Olympics yachting centre.


Our overall position is moving west as shown in the daily position report shown below.
