Day 96.  St Ignace Golf and Country Club

After trying to spend a day in Sault Ste Marie it all became too hard, bus leaves for there just before midnight, returning just before 6.30am in the morning. No hire cars for twenty miles and taxi too expensive. So I played golf.

The golf pro Ben paired me up with Tanner, a security guard on holidays here from Iowa. Tanner took the shot above of me teeing off with the Mackinac Bridge in the background.

On the way back I swung by the Mackinac Grille where they were playing Jimmy Buffett music. I ordered a “Killer Dog” and a cold Landshark Lager. The “Killer Dog” is a hot dog with chili beans, onion, cheese and jalapeño.  Will probably return to Wendy and Brenda’s diner for a wholesome dinner tonight.
