A lazy day at the resort after a hectic time on the Mississippi and a huge meal last night in Grand Rivers at the famous Patti’s 1880 settlement restaurant. We both had their signature dish, the two inch thick pork chop. It came with soup included and the pork and their French Onion soup was delectable.
We have delayed the road tour till after the 4th of July long weekend as things may be a bit hectic. Our position in the Green Turtle Bay marina shows marina covered fingers, the Barkley Dam and Lock at the top and the town of Grand Rivers in the bottom left less than a mile from the marina although we used the courtesy shuttle to get to the restaurant.
