Day 120.  Kenlake Marina layover, Kentucky

We went for a walk around the marina to look at boats after our video conference with the girls back in Brisbane. We met Roger and Marian on their 37 ft Niagara Nautilus, pilothouse  yacht. That was at 7pm and finally made it home at 11.30pm. We were joined later by JB and Donna and once again it became a most congenial evening. Roger used to work for AT&T as I did for a while. JB has been the Charlie Daniels Band business manager for 40 years including touring Australia as well with the Little River Band.

The name on the above boat isn’t one we could use on a vessel associated with Deveen and me!

Denise, the diner manager keeps on giving us her delicious Blackberry Cobbler pie, she even gave Deveen some with his breakfast. We met MIke who owns the marina for all of three weeks now and he is doing a great job of envigorating the place. Tonight he has organized bands and fireworks as it is the 4th of July weekend.
