Day 121.  Paris Landing, Tennessee

Wonderful evening with a 4th of July weekend dockside party and then watching the fireworks from the rooftop verandah of our neighbors, Don and Bobbie’s houseboat. At the bottom of the photo you can see over a hundred boats that came and anchored off Kenlake State Park to watch. Over breakfast the Kenlake marina owner Mike and his wife Cindy shared their plans to expand the facility with 250  more marina slips (pens) and add a floating bandstand and amphitheater.

We left Kenlake before 8am and it was a short 20 mile jaunt down beautiful Kentucky Lake this morning to Paris Landing State Park Marina which has modern amenities and is quite cheap at $26 a day with the fourth day free. It is celebratory weekend and there will be more fireworks happening here tomorrow night.
