Day 137.  Palafox Marina, Pensacola, Florida

Had Mahi Mahi tacos at Lulu’s last night and listened to the singer who sounded a lot like Buffett. The place was rocking for a Monday night, probably about a thousand people there and a two hour wait for a table so we ate at the bar. On the way home we met Trooper, a black Labrador.

We had our first glimpse of the Gulf of Mexico today, as we passed the entrance to Pensacola Bay. The scenery has become more of white beaches and turquoise waters as we enter Florida. The Parafox Marina is right next to town and reminded us a bit of Constitution Dock in Hobart. Though it is a bit hot here,  temperatures at 100+ F or 35 C all week.
