Day 140. Apalachicola, Fl.

Arrived at Apalachicola at 1.30pm after leaving Panama City at 7am, however we crossed a time zone so it is an hour later and thetefore we are back on Eastern Time. We chose not to go to Port Saint Joe as it would have been 10 miles out of the way and we seem to have a good weather window for a week, so we might get to Tarpon Springs/Clearwater on Tuesday/Wednesday. The marina here  is nothing elaborate but it is right in the centre of town. While we have become tantalisingly close to our starting point in the middle of Florida, we still have to go half way down the Florida peninsula to Lake Okeechobee and up the other side to Jacksonville to cross our wake and complete the Loop. That is about another 600 miles.
