Sadly after 16 wonderful years our beautiful Seawind catamaran Balakera has been sold to new owners in Sydney. It was a tough decision to make. Here she is returning to her home pontoon after completing her circumnavigation of Australia.

I know how I felt after parting with Truansea after only 5 years and sailing her solo around Australia. They do become part of you. Life goes on.

So sad for you both – she was such a huge part of your lives and you will have many, many wonderful memories (as do those of us who were lucky enough to sail on her).
